Necedah Baseball Beats New Lisbon 8-1

NHS Softball Suffers Loss

The Necedah High School Varsity baseball team won a home game against New Lisbon on Thursday, April 16. Necedah topped New Lisbon 8-1.

Pitching for Necedah was Matt Brown, Ashton Knutson, and Noah Herried. The three gave up only one of four hits and recorded eight strikeouts.

On offense, the team was able to put the ball in play up and down the Lineup. The leading Hitters for this game were Matt Brown (with a homerun and two RBI’s), Miles Saylor (with 2 hits), Charlie Huschka (with 2 hits), and Noah Boissonneault (with 2 RBI’s).

New Lisbon was only allowed one run. No earned runs were given up by Necedah’s pitchers.  Necedah has four games next week.

The same afternoon, The Necedah Cardinal softball team was dealt against New Lisbon at home. The score was 12-3 in a well played game! 

Isabell Negaard was pitching and pitched 5 strikeouts, gave up 12 hits, and 7 walks. Jamie Bistodeau and Sam Hernandez were 2 for 3.  Sam had one double and one RBI. 

The Cardinal girls face Brookwood, Weston, and Bangor next week.
