Butterfly Garden at NHS Dedicated on Earth Day

Doug Staller, Refuge Manager of the Necedah National
Wildlife Refuge, spoke about the benefits of the
butterfly garden as a habitat for endangered insects.

Mark Becker, Necedah Middle/High School principal,
acted as emcee for the groundbreaking event.

One student each from grades five through 12 and a
representative from the refuge board took part in
the groundbreaking.
